Hello Neighbors! Welcome to my Blog!

My name is Delena Givens Brown and I am your neighbor! First let me begin by saying I love this neighborhood. I grew up in this neighborhood.  We have raised our children in this neighborhood and at the present we are raising our grandchildren to appreciate this neighborhood.  This neighborhood is a part of me.  Our neighborhood is changing and it would be to all of our best interest if we could come together as a neighborhood to support one another to build up and strengthen our neighborhood.  I decided to develop this blog in hopes to rally my neighbors into taking action.  I plan to post often, so I encourage my neighbors to check the blog daily for updates!
In order for our neighborhood to survive we need neighbors who are willing and able to think outside the box.  Our neighborhood would benefit from forward thinking neighbors, who when faced with challenges, persistently look for ways to keep moving forward to improve the quality of the neighborhood.
According to the Pew Research Center 81% of American adults are online.   It's economical; it saves trees, electricity, time and energy! .  Paperless appears to be the next logical step to stay in contact with our neighbors, when there is no other economic alternatives.
Please leave comments! I would like to know how you feel about our neighborhood.   I would like to hear your suggestions on how to improve and/or maintain our neighborhood.

Also, If you have any community events you want the community to know about, please email the information to me at yarberbrown@gmail.com and I will post it!  Because when we Get Connected~ we Get Results!

I want to hear from our neighbors! What do you think? Looking forward to your suggestions! dgb
